UNCOMMON AREAS
Reception Area
Guests may check in at our reception area located at the
south entrance of the B&B between 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Business Centre
Open 24/7, where guests may make personal phone calls, scan, fax, print or copy documents. Although free wireless high speed internet is available throughout the B&B, guests may also use our guest computer to check e-mail or access the internet. Outgoing mail may be dropped off here and must be posted no later than 11:00 am. Mail is picked up daily by the U.S. Postal Service except on Sundays or U.S. federal holidays. Postage stamps are available for purchase if needed.
Guests can enjoy our beautiful original photography and prints throughout the B&B and in our gallery. We are now featuring local Seal Rock artist
Jacelyn Simonski who has adorned our wall with a set of three beautiful original acrylic paintings!
Gardens, Forests and Beaches...Oh My!
On September 21, 2007 Caledonia House B&B's grounds became officially designated as a Certified Wildlife HabitatTM by the National Wildlife Federation (Wildlife Habitat #90778).
Guests are encouraged to enjoy our garden areas throughout our over 2 wild wooded acres, or slip on your sandals and walk (or drive) 1/4 mile south to Driftwood Beach State Wayside. This state park has free beach access and facilities! Check our "Activities" page for more things to see and do during your stay.
Library/Parlor
Guests are welcome to relax in the parlor for reading, playing board games, listen to music or just to take in a movie on our 27" TV with cable, VCR and DVD player. There is also a telescope for stargazing at night!
At all times we try to consider our guests, which includes the food we serve. We do our best to use natural ingredients such as unbleached flour, pure cane sugar, butter, 2% milk, nuts and fruits in our fresh baked foods. We also offer healthy options, including low fat yogurt and we hand pick our fruits and vegetables from local farmer's markets in season. As always, we ask our guests to let us know if they have special dietary needs ahead of time so we can try to accommodate everyone. Both hosts are Certified Food Handlers.
Main Gathering (Dining) Room
Guests will enjoy their breakfast in our main level dining area. This spacious room has a large, west-facing window and stately fireplace where guests will enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet before setting off on their daily adventures. Cafe tables can be separated or joined according to personal preference. Please let us know in advance if you would like to sit together with other guests. 
Breakfast is served at 8:00 am and is included in the room price.
Guests enjoy a splendid buffet full of tantilizing Scottish-American delights.

The main gathering room also has a large, flat-screen television above the stately fireplace. Guests can relax and enjoy a DVD movie or regular television programming through 10:00 pm.
Each morning during breakfast, a soothing selection of Celtic music
sets the tone for easing into your day.
Ye Auld Tub House
Guests may enjoy a relaxing soak in the jetted "tub-for-two" in the private tub house located on the north side of the B&B. It's a fantastic way to unwind after a long day of exploring the Oregon coast and a romantic retreat before you retire for the evening.
